143.4…A Dinner at Home

Last night I did something that I haven’t done in awhile. I ate dinner at home. I didn’t cook anything difficult though.

Trader Joe’s Orange Chicken, brown rice and steamed broccoli.

Even with all the eating out I’ve been doing, I’ve still been able to make good choices but it sure is easier to loose weight when you’re eating at home. Next week I plan on getting back into the swing of things by preparing more dinners at home.

At Costco yesterday I bought another box of Fage yogurt blends. So…that’s what I had again this morning.

This time I had the mango flavor with blackberries and raspberries. The mango is my least favorite flavor but it’s still good.

After I took the kids to school, I went to Lisa’s house for our Slim in 6 video. Same old, same old. I’m looking forward to moving onto the next video next week. After that, I went to Cardio Muscle class.

I was pretty hungry afterwards so on my way to my nail appointment, I had a mini Luna bar (also purchased at Costco):

The mini bars are 80 calories but they are quite small. The white chocolate macadamia flavor is delicious! It didn’t hold me over very long but I didn’t expect it to.

After my nail appointment, I picked up my daughter from school and then ran over to Von’s for a turkey sandwich for lunch.

We picked up my son, made a quick trip to Target and came home. I snacked on some grapes as soon as I walked in the door.:

I am seriously considering enjoying a glass of wine right now. I think I deserve it after all my hard work this week!

What was one healthy choice that you made today?

  1. Hmm...I had sushi and cupcakes. Not sure if those are healthy but they tasted delicious. My favorite cupcake was the one with carrot in in it though! That sandwich looks amazing by the way!
