A great time was had by all at Bunco last night. Once I arrived at my friend Cari’s house, I immediately headed for the wine of course!
And the cheese and crackers!
We all chatted for awhile and then helped ourselves to chili and cornbread. I love Cari’s cocktail napkins: “Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid altogether.”
We all sat down to dinner. I switched to red wine:
The chili and cornbread were so delicious! It was perfect for a cool fall evening! For dessert I had a couple of pieces of peppermint bark:
That stuff is good!! Thanks Cari for hosting a wonderful Bunco!!
Breakfast this morning was an egg beater and swiss cheese sandwich on a bagel thin. I put some spinach leaves in it as well. I had some tasteless strawberries on the side. What’s with all the tasteless fruit lately?
After the kids went to school, I went to Zumba. I came home to change and get ready for my mom’s arrival. My dad is in San Diego on business so she came along to hang out, shop with me, and play with the kiddos. We went to the mall to get some holiday shopping done. We went to Bloomingdales for lunch. I ordered a salmon salad:
It was really good and filling!! It actually kept me full for hours which is unusual for me.
We were pretty successful crossing off things from our list today. Love that!!
We are taking my mom out to dinner tonight to another one of my favorite restaurants. You’ll have to wait and see! :)
Have you started your holiday shopping yet?
