140.4....Back to the drawing board!

Well, the weigh in wasn't as bad as I expected after all my shenanigans this past weekend. But it's back to healthy eats!

Breakfast was Fage yogurt with Fiber One cereal and strawberries:

My hubby took my son to school so I went for a walk/run in the neighborhood. It was cool and crisp outside...the perfect weather for a run! Then it was time to shower and take my daughter to meet her new teachers and see her classroom. After that, she got a haircut....now she's all ready for school to start on Monday.

When we got home, it was lunch time. I made a wrap with turkey slices, a Laughing Cow cheese wedge, lettuce, shredded carrots, tomatoes and mustard all wrapped in a wheat tortilla. I also had some tomato soup and a pickle:

I spent awhile uploading the 200+ pictures I took from the wedding and emailing them to everyone. Whew! Glad that's done!

I picked up my son from school and came home to have a snack:

I'm really enjoying watermelon. :) I then spent a lot of time printing out recipes. I email recipes to myself when I see ones I like and then save them in a special folder to print later. They are really starting to add up!!

When dinner time rolled around, I had already taken a bag of Elie Krieger's delicious mac and cheese out of the freezer, so it was all ready to heat up. I'm glad I like it because it looks like there's about 5 or 6 bags left in the freezer. :)

I also made a big salad of mixed greens, butter lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, shredded carrots tossed with balsamic vinaigrette.

Last night I slept like a dream....I hope tonight will be a repeat!

How do you organize all your recipes? I have several binders with each recipe that I haven't tried filed by category. Then there are other binders with recipes that I have tried filed the same way.

  1. I hear you - my weight was up today too - eek!

I am working on an online organization system but for now mine are in binders (that aren't nearly as organized as how yours sound!)

  2. I organize my recipe by food blogging. I started my blog because my recipes were just thrown in a drawer and totally unorganized.
