139.0...Double Pasta Leftovers
What a beautiful carb-loaded day I've had!
I knew exactly what I wanted for breakfast the second I woke up: more English Muffin bread.
I cut off a thick slice and put it in the toaster until it was golden brown. Then I "frosted" it with Barney Butter almond butter. Oh my. The cantaloupe was good too. :)
Both kiddos were off to school today so I hit up both Cardio Muscle and Zumba classes. I really need the calorie burn. I came home to change and grab a quick snack before picking up my daughter. I ate an apple at the speed of light (forgot to snap a picture but I'm sure you can use your imagination) and I grabbed a chunk of my homemade Challah to eat in the car:
When I got home, I was more than ready for lunch. I was excited to eat the Stuffed Shells leftovers....I love these things! I sauteed some veggies to go with it for more of a nutritional boost:
My daughter probably thought I was nuts as I ooohed and ahhhed through the whole plate.
Then it was time to pick up my son from school. I ran an errand with the hubby and came home to chill for a bit. Dinner was also leftover pasta:
This one was the rest of my pasta from Firenze the other night. It tasted just as good tonight. I need to order that same pasta next time! I made a big salad to go with it (butter lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and Girard's Light Champagne Dressing).
I'm already feeling sore from today's workouts. I like that feeling. :)
After the kids go to bed, I'm going to Lisa's to watch The Bachelor Pad. I'm super tired...hope I can stay awake!
Red sauce or white sauce for pasta? I usually prefer red sauce and I LOVE pink sauce. :)
