Back at Home!

Last night we went to a restaurant that we've been to before when visiting Santa Barbara and have enjoyed very much: Lucky's Steakhouse.

Sorry the picture is sideways....still haven't figured that one out. Hubby and I split a Caesar salad and I had a glass of red wine:

For my entree I choose their Charred Rare Tuna with Japanese Vinaigrette, Green Onions and Shiitake Mushrooms:

It was out of this world good! I loved it! Too bad their dessert wasn't as good. We split the Chocolate Lava Cake (normally my favorite dessert ever!) but this cake was a little dry. :)

After a day of doing not very much, I was tired! We went back to the hotel and called it a night!

Breakfast this morning was the exact same as yesterday:

Egg white omelet with spinach and cheddar cheese, dry wheat toast and coffee. We got dressed packed up and headed home. The drive was about 4 hours. We were getting a bit hungry so we stopped at one of hubby's favorite spots: Del Taco. He really gets excited when he goes here. :) I had a taco salad, no sour cream and I didn't eat the shell. I did load it up with hot sauce after this picture was taken though. :)

We came home and I played a zillion games of Uno with the kids and then started some laundry and unpacked and then re-packed for our family trip to Austin, Texas tomorrow. It's been a few hours and I'm still not completely done. Ugh!

The hubby had to work tonight, so I heated up some pasta I found in the fridge and made a quick salad for dinner:

I just got the kiddos to bed and I'm going to finish packing and get ready for bed myself. Not sure when I'll be able to blog next but hopefully it will be soon!

  1. Yum - that taco salad looks great - although i probably would have had to eat the shell!
