I'm blaming it on the chicken wings. Damn them.

Breakfast was an experiment today (guess I was finally feeling inspired!). I mixed a tablespoon of Trader Joe's Pumpkin Butter into my Fage yogurt. INSANE GOODNESS. On top was a half cup of Fiber One cereal and strawberries. I will be repeating this one soon.

I dropped the kids off and school and then ran/walked for an hour. I ran for about 20 minutes and walked up and down hills the rest. My Polar heart rate monitor told me I burned 500 calories. That was nice of it. :)

Next stop was Subway. The usual: turkey on wheat with everything except olives.

When I came out of Target, I saw this car parked near me. I think they like stuffed animals.

Stuff like that makes me laugh. Oh...on a similar subject...I frequently see cars with tissue boxes in their back window. I'm not making fun (especially if you have one) but am just curious....how do you reach it when you need one?

Moving on.....I picked up my son from school and took him to get a haircut. We have a new tradition: after the haircut we go to the frozen yogurt place, Fruttos Yogurt, next door.

I went with a trio of New York Cheesecake, Cookies and Cream and Chocolate Peppermint (the darkest one and my favorite of the group-wish I had gotten more of that!). I was really in the mood for a pumpkin flavor but they didn't have anything like it. :( Nevertheless, I enjoyed my yogurt!

We came home and I put all my stuff away (nothing too exciting....just stocking up on stuff) and I caught up on email/blogs. Hubby is away on business so it was the perfect night for leftovers. I had some of the Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken from the other night. Egg noodles and green beans on the side. :)

With two points left, I'm thinking a couple of mini candies from the Halloween candy jar.....after the kids go to sleep....and in bed while reading. Ah....the good life!

  3. Nice 500-calorie burn! And shot of the stuffed animals - eek. That totally freaks me out for some reason. I want your yogurt and am now craving subway - love it!
