Stop scale! Why do you keep going up??? Maybe it's because of dinners like this:

Firenze!!

Last night's dinner at Firenze was sooooo good! I love that place!!!!! I started the evening with a glass of chardonnay. It was the first of two. :)

I started with my favorite salad: Chopped Caesar.

I had a hard time trying to decide what to order for dinner. There were a few new items on the menu but I finally decided on an old favorite: Calamari Marinara. I really love this dish. The calamari isn't fried and I had them make the sauce extra spicy. Mmmm good!

I had such a good time catching up with friends and enjoying an extremely satisfying meal. I can't wait to go back there.

This morning's breakfast was Special K Vanilla Almond cereal with almond milk, blackberries and raspberries.

I took the kids to school and then went to spin. It felt really good to work out....I haven't been to the gym since Friday. That's a long time for me. I went to Subway with the hubby for lunch. The normal: turkey on wheat with everything except olives.

I then went to Trader Joes and Ralph's to buy most of my Thanksgiving groceries. I just realized a couple of days ago that Thanksgiving is next week. How did that creep up so fast??
When I got home I needed a snack. Behold a honeycrisp apple and peanut butter.

Nothing too exciting happened between snack and dinner. I'm trying to get caught up on email and my To-Do list which grows exponentially every day. I did write out my Thanksgiving "timeline". I basically write out an outline of what needs to be done when on the big day so I'm organized and not guessing.
Hubby is at a work dinner so I looked through my freezer and found this Lean Cuisine Tuscan Chicken Panini. I paired it with some roasted red pepper and tomato soup. The paninis from Lean Cuisine aren't bad. I enjoy eating them with soup. I also enjoy getting rid of stuff in my freezer.

So now I'm still trying to catch up with my list. Wish me luck. Hopefully it will stop growing at least.
