Please pardon me...but this is a wine-influenced post.
I closed all the blinds last night to ensure a peaceful, long sleep. I went to bed at 9PM last night. Yeah...I'm cool like that. When I awoke a little before 7Am this morning, I was not pleased. Why can't I sleep longer????? Well, I guess 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep is pretty good....should not be complaining. So...I laid in bed and watched The Today Show for a bit before I made some coffee. Then I decided I should eat breakfast. Light whole wheat English Muffin with Barney Butter and cantaloupe. I ate breakfast in front of the computer while leisurely checking emails.

I got some laundry started, replaced a burnt out light bulb and got ready for Step and Sculpt class. Going along with my caffeine experiment....my workout today was very energetic.....thanks to the coffee perhaps?
I met up with my friend Dina for lunch. We went to The Pantry in Rancho Santa Fe and I had one of my favorites there: Bulgur Avocado Chicken Salad....not a lot of description needed there. :)

Afterwards I came home and did some more laundry and grabbed a snack before heading out to my nail appointment. What a rough life.

When I got home, I caught up on some email, finished the laundry and cleaned up a bit. I was planning on meeting some friends at our club for a drink so I decided I should eat a little something before I left. My spin instructor, Maya, gave me a carton of soup she bought at Costco that she thought I'd like.

The soup was really good! 110 calories per cup and very filling!! Alongside was a slice of light wheat bread with a Laughing Cow cheese. Oh...and a glass of vino of course!
