We met a couple of friends at my favorite restaurant, Firenze, for dinner last night.

I enjoyed a couple glass of red wine:

Hubby and I split our favorite salad, the Chopped Caesar:

And we also tried something new…..I don’t remember their fancy Italian name for it, but I just like to call it fried cheese. :)

How could that be bad right? :) I chose an old favorite for my entree, Calamari Marinara:

It was just as good as I remembered. :) And, last but certainly not least, dessert. Chocolate Lava Cake:

This morning I wasn’t feeling so hot when I woke up….I’ve been thinking that I’m coming down with a cold for the last few days and I guess the cold actually arrived. :(

Breakfast was a waffle with almond butter and a side of pineapple. The pineapple is SO juicy!

After taking the kids to school, I went to Zumba. It felt good to get my sweat on!

For lunch, the kind folks at Foodbuzz sent me a gift card for Wendy’s to try their new natural cut french fries. I will post a review as well as ANOTHER giveaway, after the current giveaway ends on Sunday. Stay tuned!

I picked up my daughter from school and then took her to a playdate. Now I’m home chilling on the couch. I don’t plan to do anything else tonight. Hubby is working late so dinner is going to be something easy and fast….and probably not very healthy. Good night!
