Just like I thought, last night’s dinner was no where near healthy…but it was comforting.

I was sent a couple packages of Kraft’s Homestyle Macaroni and Cheese to try. I had one package left and decided that it was the perfect thing to eat because I wasn’t feeling well and wanted something fast and easy.

I decided to eat the mac and cheese out of a smaller bowl so I’d eat less of it. Fail. I just went back for seconds. Oh well….it’s the thought that counts. Let me just say that I love mac and cheese of all forms, shapes and sizes. It’s a dangerous food to have around because I can’t stop eating it. That being said, Kraft’s Homestyle variety is pretty good for a packaged mac and cheese but of course doesn’t compare to homemade.

After the kids went to bed, I took some Nyquil and entered a drugged dream land. Zzzzzzzzzzz

Breakfast this morning was a light, wheat English muffin with Barney Butter with a side of strawberries and pineapple:

I took my son to school and then took my daughter to her dentist appointment. She didn’t have school today because it was parent-teacher conference day. Hubby and I went to her conference and received a great report. :)

We went to lunch at Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza. We split the chopped chicken salad:

Next, it was time to pick up my son from school. I came home to start the laundry and pay some bills.

Now I’m relaxing in front of the fireplace. Wine may happen. I mean, you can’t sit in front of the fire without a fancy beverage right? :)

What food(s) do you lose all control around? For me, it’s mac and cheese and pizza!

  3. the chopped salad looks yummy!!! I lose control around chips and BOXED mac and cheese, as weird as it sounds the boxed kind brings back memories of my childhood and i eat more of it then the rich homemade kind!

  4. It's DEFINITELY the thought that counts! I saw the commercial for this product - haven't tried it yet! I lose control around sweets, sour candies, pizza, french fries or tater tots, and DEFINITELY mac & cheese!

  5. Definitely pizza! And any kind of homemade sweets, chips and dip, nachos, meatballs, homemade bread and pasta! I have been using a small salad plate to eat dinner every night - it works but I always get hungry soon after.
