Beautiful Blogger Award!
First of all, a BIG thank you to Mo from MommyRD for nominating me for the Beautiful Blogger Award!!
Apparently, I have to share 7 Random Facts about Myself, then nominate 7 new lovely bloggers so here it is:
1. I used to fly planes. Yup...little single engine planes. I was on way to get my pilot's license (I even fly by myself before) when a little disaster struck. My engine died at 6500 feet over a mountain range. Luckily my instructor was with me and we were able to guide the plane back to a private air strip that we saw along the way. Needles to say, that freaked me out....having little kids to take care of I thought that maybe I should give flying a break.
2. I share the same birthday as my dad. Yep - Dec. 16th!
3. I don't like fruit with my food. Let me explain....I think fruit should be eaten by itself or with sweet stuff like desserts or breakfast items. I don't like fruit in salad or with chicken or other proteins.
4. I've never seen an episode of Mash or the movies Top Gun and E.T. I know....I'm weird.
5. I know all the states in alphabetical order. I learned this in a song in the third grade and have never forgotten. My dad still makes me sing the song every now and then.
6. I used to be a makeup artist for Prescriptives. It was a fun job but the hours were a total opposite of my husband's so I rarely saw him. :(
7. I cannot ski, roller skate, ice skate, etc. Falling freaks me out so any kind of sliding does not work for me at all!
