All this social activity is interfering with my weight loss.

Breakfast looked almost the same as yesterday except I used a different method of delivery for my almond butter: Ezekiel bread.

I dropped the kids off at school and went for a 3 1/2 mile run (hills too!). The weather wasn't too hot so it made for a nice run. Afterwards, I stopped at Subway for my usual: 6 inch turkey on wheat with everything (extra mustard and extra spicy mustard) except olives. I ran into Target and did some shopping. How come I can't get out of there for under $100??
Came home and started getting packed for my crazy weekend. We are leaving Thursday night for Las Vegas for the Mayweather/Marquez boxing fight and then to Los Angeles on Sunday to attend the Emmy's. I'm so excited!!!!! So, I need plenty of time to figure out what I'm going to wear of course!! Can't wait to post pictures!!

All that trying on of clothes made me hungry so I had some Cinnamon Pecan Special K cereal with almond milk. I like cereal for a snack but it never fills me up for a meal. Reminds me....I really need to try oatmeal one of these days.

Since we are leaving on Thursday, I didn't want to buy any new groceries so I defrosted some leftover cheese ravioli and marinara and whipped up some veggies on the side (yellow and green zucchini, onions, bell peppers, garlic and mushrooms). Now I'm reading the new issue of Cooking Light...I used to subscribe a long time ago and found that the recipes were not ones I was interested in but since they've changed their look, it looks a little more Melissa friendly. What's your favorite cooking/food magazine?

Having 5 points left for day, of course I chose something peanut butter related. Enter Vans waffle with Peanut Butter & Co's Dark Chocolate Dreams (peanut butter/chocolate spread):

Warm, yummy disc of goodness.

  3. You are right. That is a disc of goodness, if I've ever seen one.

Re: your comment on my blog, I bet melty banana and PB on that wondrous disc would help ease you into loving bananas :)
