What a lazy Saturday I had....I only left the house to go to the gym.

Breakfast was the same as yesterday. The only difference was that I had 2 cups of coffee with the normal add-ins (unsweetened vanilla almond milk and sugar free vanilla syrup). I went to spin class and left there a hot mess. :)

I did the all the laundry, read some blogs and baked some cookies to bring with me to my mother in law's house on Monday (Labor Day party and diet disaster) :) I used this recipe. They turned out really good!! Let me start by saying that my favorite chocolate chip cookies are the Nestle Toll House refrigerated dough. I cannot seem to find a recipe that tastes like these...not even the Toll House recipe on the back of the chocolate chips bag. This recipe has come the closest by far!! I tried two different methods: half of the batch I cooked according to the recipe and the other half I cooked on pure convection at 350 degrees. The convection method was the best. Crisp on the edges and soft and chewy in the middle. YUM!!! The big test will be to see how they taste when they're not hot and fresh out of the oven. I only ate a half of cookie from each batch. Now that is restraint!

Lunch for the family was whole wheat spaghetti with my marinara from earlier in the week with loads of veggies on top (green bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, and asparagus).

I did have a snack of an apple with a tablespoon of Barney Butter. This is a great snack because it satisfies your sweet tooth but is good for you and filling!

For dinner I grabbed something out of the freezer that I bought at Costco the other day: Bird's Eye Chicken and Creamy Parmesan Rice with Spring Vegetables. It was 5 points per cup so I thought it was low enough to give it a try. I'm not big on frozen dinners but this one was pretty darn good!! I made extra veggies on the side (some as lunch except no bell peppers and I ran out of mushrooms). It was pretty filling...I was quite pleased and clean up was one pan....Nice!

I have four points left....that might mean a glass of wine in the jacuzzi tonight with hubby after the kiddos are sound asleep. With two points left I could have another one of my awesome chocolate chip cookies. Only time will tell...
