Free Tequila Shots anyone?

We’ve been having such a great time in Boston! We’ve decided to stay on west coast time so the kids don’t get too messed up time wise. It’s nice waking up at 10:30am even though it’s only 7:30am at home.

When my son saw that PF Changs was across the street from our hotel, The Colonnade, he wanted to go there. So that’s where we went for Friday night dinner.

We split Changs Spicy Chicken, 2 other chicken dishes that I can’t remember and Dan Dan Noodles.

Yesterday morning I had some bread with my new found love, Teddie peanut butter butter along with some coffee for breakfast.

I decided it was about time to get myself to the gym. It was raining all day in Boston yesterday so I decided to pound out some miles on the dreadmill. You know how I feel about the treadmill. Ugh. I only had time for 3 miles which I ran in 31 minutes. The rest of the time was spent warming up and cooling down.

My mother and law and the kids went off for their adventures  for the day and my aunt who lives here picked me up for some shopping. We stopped at Sonsie for lunch.

She ordered a Bloody Mary and I rolled with a mimosa minus the juice. The juice just takes up space. :)

For lunch I ordered the crab salad salad with mixed greens.

So freaking delicious. I really need to make it a point to eat more seafood here!

Somewhere along the way, our lovely waiter Ryan, brought us free tequila shots. Not quite sure how that happened, but ok! Free tequila shots for lunch? OK! My aunt didn’t want hers so I took one for the team and drank it. Gotta do what you gotta do.

We went the rest of the day shopping at the huge mall across the street from our hotel. Boozy face shopping=dangerous! I bought a couple pairs of shoes….I’ll have to model them later!

We all came back to the hotel and chilled for a bit before we went to dinner at Papa Razzi. Love the name!

Vino!

I ordered a Caesar salad to start:

For my entree, I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese:

It was out of this world delicious. It was made with veal and pancetta and it rocked my world. Papa Razzi was an excellent restaurant!!!

Don’t forget the dessert: the brownie sundae that my husband ordered:

I only ate two bites. I was stuffed!

It’s time to get going for the day. I just finished my granola and milk and am about to pop in the shower!

Enjoy your day!!

What’s the weather like where you are today? So far so good..the sun is shinning right now!

Do you celebrate Easter? What are your plans? We are actually Passover peeps over here and will be going to my mother in law’s cousin’s house for a Passover dinner tonight.

  10. I'm already full so after reading this post, I'm stuffed! lol! Love the granola and milk in a wine glass--classy breakfast! I'm a Christian and though I get together with family on Easter Sunday and have ham and do the Easter basket thing, I don't celebrate it as a religious holiday. The origins of Easter have nothing to do with Christ rising and it seems arbitrary to recognize his rising on one special day of the year when we should keep his life, sacrifice, and resurrection in our thoughts and hearts year round. Just my two-cents on the subject. I know I'm in the minority as a Christian who doesn't celebrate Easter (or even Christmas) as a religious holiday!
