140.6…Birthday Party Final Installment

I’m so glad you are enjoying the Barbie shenanigans!

After breakfast yesterday,  we finally made it to the pool.

Pelican Hills Hotel has the largest circular pool in the world. Pretty impressive huh? It hold one million gallons of water. A little trivia for ya!

Barbie was feeling fabulous at the pool. So was I!

We had some wine:

And pizza and fries. Can’t beat that.

There came a point when it was time to check out and hit the road back to San Diego.

We came back to the room to pack up and inspect the damage:

The time flew by but it was amazing and I will have fabulous memories forever!

I got home, unpacked and went to bed. I woke up just in time to grab some breakfast and make it to my Cardio Muscle class.

Peanut butter on toast with some cantaloupe. I had planned on running 4 miles after class but that was not going to happen. It was hot and I felt too tired after my weights class.

I came home, showered, laid in bed and read blogs, caught up on shows on my DVR and took a nap. Lazy bones. Somewhere in there I made lunch:

Tuna salad on greens with cherry tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette. That was a great salad…may have to repeat that one tomorrow!

Later on in the afternoon, I went on a walk with Lisa up our huge emergency access hill in our neighborhood. We went up it twice. I was supposed to do 4 miles of rolling hills. Does walking up a crazy steep hill twice count?

Laziness will continue tonight. The family comes home tomorrow night so I need  to take advantage of my alone time as much as possible. :)
