141.4…Neighborhood Party

Last night I went over to a friend’s house for a party. Every quarter a couple in our neighborhood hosts a party. Everyone brings a bottle of wine and an appetizer and it’s always a blast. Last night was no exception!

I snack on various appetizers but didn’t take a picture. I didn’t even bring my camera out until later in the evening….I was having too much fun! I ended up making Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Parmesan. They were so good…..I didn’t even get a picture of those! They did look a bit ugly….best you don’t see them. :)

I did get a picture of the dessert table:

I drank too much wine, didn’t eat enough food (shocker!) and went to bed way too late. When I woke up I wanted lots of water and spicy eggs!

Egg beaters, jalapenos, spinach, onions, green bell pepper and cheddar cheese.

I showered, cleaned up around the house, and dropped my son off at a birthday party. The party was next door to the mall so my daughter and I walked around for a bit. We stopped at Red Robin for lunch. I ordered the turkey burger with a side salad. I stole of few of my daughter’s fries. :)

We picked up my son and went home. I haven’t done much the rest of the day. Just chilling. Relaxing. Hanging Out. ;)

What was the best thing you ate all weekend?

Do you have a busy week coming up?

  3. I love your spicy eggs! Sounds like a fun party - I love the idea of wine + app with a fun, neighborhood group. We don't have any friends in our neighborhood - SAD. Best thing I ate all weekend was BBQ at bookclub!

  6. What a fun night!
I had an ice-cream cone Sunday afternoon that was delicious, especially since it was nice and sunny out.
I want to try the turkey burger from red Robin--is it good?

  8. Vanessa: Yes, the turkey burger was really good! I liked it because the burger itself wasn't too thick. I like my burgers more on the thin side.
