I dominated the hot wing battle last night at The Hamburger Factory. I did feel I deserved one glass of wine for running 8 miles though.
While my dinner companions ate their hot wings, I ate a side salad with light Italian dressing on the side. My daughter was the excited recipient of my bread stick.
For dinner, I ordered a turkey burger basic with sliced tomato, lettuce and sliced onion. They screwed up my order and brought me a regular burger. By the time my turkey burger arrived I was starving and ate it before the camera could get to it. Oops. My bad.
You know what? I felt a millions times better last night than I would have if I had eaten my standard hot wings and onion rings. But do not fret, I’m sure you will see them again some point in the near future. I’m not totally crazy you know.
I was asleep before 9:30pm last night. My legs were SO happy to be in bed. I could feel them smiling. When I rolled out of bed at 8am, (Thank you children for sleeping in. Thank you husband for quietly going downstairs.) I was ecstatic, well rested and beyond thrilled with that fabulous moment.
It was all about the spicy eggs again this morning.

Between lunch and dinner, a shower happened and that’s about it. Lunch was a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich with a huge salad with balsamic vinegar:
Now I’m chilling in front of the TV. I love being lazy. I did start the dishwasher so it’s not like I’m doing nothing.
The last of the weekend birthday parties is this afternoon. I probably should eat a good snack before we leave so I don’t collapse in front of the pizza.
On a side note: Last night when we arrived at dinner, my friend’s husband said to me: “What’s up Athlete?” I almost turned my head to see who he was talking to. Me? An Athlete? I guess I am. :)
