When we last left off, I had some Peanut Butter Banana Bread in the oven. I found the recipe here on Jessica’s blog. I’m glad I did!

The loaf pan was too small so it took a little longer to bake and it got a little too brown:

As it was cooling, I made dinner. I made this recipe for Kung Pao Chicken from Cooking Light magazine. It was delicious!

I served it with brown rice. Love easy, healthy recipes!

After dinner, it was time to taste my Peanut Butter Banana Bread:

So good. Really. My son and husband loved it.  I loved it so much it went into my Fage yogurt and blackberries this morning:

Yummy combo! Love those Costco blackberries!

I took the kids to school and went to Zumba. Afterwards I had to pick up the kids (my son had half day). I came home for lunch:

Turkey wrap with a Laughing Cow sun-dried tomato cheese wedge, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrots and mustard all inside a wheat tortilla. I had some tomato soup on the side.

So, last night I tried on my costume. It didn’t turn out like I wanted it to. It was a Lady Gaga costume complete with the wig. My husband didn’t think I looked like her at all. Boo!

So I went back to look for another costume. Have you been to a costume store lately? Maybe I’m just getting old or are all the costumes for adult women scandalous? I mean, these costumes barely covered my bottom. God forbid I drop something. I actually felt depressed. I ended up buying some accessories to add to something I already have.

Afterwards I ran to Trader Joes to pick up some stuff for dinner tonight. I’m looking forward to enjoying another rainy night at home.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?

  2. I tend to embarass myself pretty regularly, so I can't think of a "most" embarassing thing.
That banana bread looks so good, and I don't even like bananas or pb.

  4. I can't think of my most embarassing moment off the top of my head... I guess that's a good thing.

The bread sounds AMAZING! I bet my kids would be thrilled if I made it for them.
