We took the kids to meet some friends at our club for some dinner and to watch some Monday Night Football. I love their specials…

$2 Tacos:

I actually had two of these carne asada tacos. Their corn tortillas were terrible so both tacos ended up being transferred to flour tortillas.  I had some wine with dinner as well. A great time was had by all! I really do think I have a hot wing problem…..the wings at our club are SO good!

I dragged my tired, dehydrated self out of bed this morning early to get ready for the day. Breakfast was a low fat, whole wheat waffle with Barney Butter and a side of cantaloupe:

I took the kids to school and then went to spin class. I quickly changed and went to Subway for lunch:

Then I went to Party City to look for a costume. We have a couple of costume parties coming up so I needed a costume ASAP. The costume I choose was something that I wanted to be way back in December. It has since become overly popular but I loved what Party City had so I went for it. Any guesses?? I guess you’ll have to wait and see! Now, let’s just hope it fits!

Afterwards, I made a trip to Costco in the pouring rain. Ugh….but at least it’s done! It was snack time when I came home:

Progresso Light soup. :) It was off to pick up the kids….on the way home I knew I wanted to bake. A rainy day calls for some baking right? I had some bananas that were getting quite squishy so I looked through my recipes and found one for Peanut Butter Banana Bread. It’s in the oven at this very moment…..

What do you make with your squishy bananas?

  1. Uhmmmm I mush my squishy bananas up in my oatmeal! It looks like you had a well balanced, productive day! And those are really good Monday Night Football deals!

  2. I usually make banana bread or add them to my daughter's smoothie.
