Yesterday was an important day for my husband and I. We got engaged on April 5, 2002 and try to celebrate the date every year. He decided to take me to Firenze, which most of you know is my favorite restaurant ever!!

I decided mid-afternoon to have a snack to hold me over. I decided to try the vanilla Chobani yogurt with Fiber One cereal and raspberries (the last of them) and blackberries.

I thought the vanilla flavor was just ok. Since I started eating Fage yogurt, I'm not used to eating the sweeter yogurts. The Chobani isn't as sweet as say, Yoplait, but it's still a little too sweet for me. I still want to try the other flavors though...especially the pineapple.

Dinner at Firenze was the bomb as usual. I really love this place!! It makes me smile the minute I walk through their door. Hubby and I shared our normal chopped Caesar salad:

Sorry about the dark picture. I went with something simple for dinner: Cappellini Pomodoro (extra spicy of course!):

It was everything I could have hoped for! And I ate the whole bowl! No surprise there right! We also shared a bottle of wine. I didn't have any bread (yeah!) BUT......

I may have had some of hubby's birthday cake when I got home. I'm a sucker for birthday cake. It needs to disappear from my home now!

This morning's breakfast was Fage yogurt with Fiber One cereal and blackberries and strawberries:

I love my Fage.

I went over to Lisa's for P90X. Today's video was Kenpo....nothing crazy there. One week left people!!!! AH!!!!!!
I met with one of the other preschool room moms for lunch to talk about upcoming class events. We decided to meet at Champagne Bakery. I went with the Cobb salad, no bacon, no cheese and dressing on the side:

It was good but it filled me up about as well as a rice cake would. I ran some errands afterwards and came home and had a handful of peanut butter pretzels.

I started cleaning out my closet this afternoon. I'm actually having a "swap party" at my house in a couple of weeks. Everyone brings clothes/shoes/accessories that they no longer need/want and we eat, drink and swap stuff! It's a blast....we did it last year as well. So I need to clean out my closet and get rid of the stuff that doesn't fit/look good. Being that I probably weigh a good ten pounds less than I did last year, a lot of stuff is too big! Yeah!!! Not a bad problem to have if you ask me! :)
Ok, I probably should start thinking about dinner and whatever else I need to do tonight. Have a great evening!

  1. I LOVE the idea of swap, what a great way to let someone else where something fabulous that you don't love.

I'm a huge sucker for birthday cake as well. I love frosting! My cryptonite.

Wish I could come to your swap.
