146.2…Never Ending Drawers of Crap

Come on extra weight…go away already! How come it’s so easy to gain but so hard to lose? It just ain’t right I tell ya.

For dinner last night, I marinated some chicken in Trader Joe’s Island Soyaki Sauce and sautéed it with some broccoli, mushrooms and shredded carrots. I put it atop some of Trader Joe’s frozen brown rice (love this stuff).

I put a little too much sauce on my rice so it got all saturated and was a little too strong but overall I enjoyed my meal.

I was in a burrito mood this morning so I scrambled some egg beaters with zucchini, onions and mushrooms and put in on a La Tortilla Low Carb tortilla. I rolled it up and went to town. I had a small bowl of watermelon as well. I have missed you watermelon!

I took the kids to the bus for camp and went to Zumba. I am crazy sore today (as expected) from the last two days of Cardio Muscle classes. It felt good to stretch and move around!

When I got home I started a project that I have planned for this summer: Clean out all the crap in my house. Seriously…I want to go from room to room, drawer to drawer and organize and get rid of stuff I don’t use/want. I started today in my bathroom. I am fortunate to have a pretty big bathroom with tons of drawers and storage space. Do you know what a ton of storage space gives you? Room for tons of crap. Ugh. Where do I accumulate all this stuff?

Eventually my stomach started to growl so I went to make lunch. I made a turkey sandwich on a bagel thin with a slice of low fat Swiss cheese, tomatoes and cucumber slices. On the side I had some more cucumbers with hummus.

After lunch it was back to work in the bathroom. It felt good to get rid of stuff and everything organized. Too bad I didn’t get it all done…I have a few drawers left to go.

I picked up the kids at this bus stop and came home. They had a great day at camp today…I think they are getting in the swing of things. :)

  4. I have like 4 junk drawers just in my kithchen...I can barely open them

  5. i try to stay organized, but things do tend to pile up!!

  6. I'm not the most organized person, but like you said, I LOVE to go through things and throw away all the extra crap that accumulates! Good luck with all that!
