My hunger woke me up around 6AM this morning. Knowing that my kids could wake up at any second, there was no point in going back to sleep. Instead I went downstairs (husband was already up – we are crazy people) and poured a cup of coffee. I tried to hold off as long as possible for breakfast but it didn’t last long.
I made a egg sandwich using one egg, a slice of low fat cheese and a toasted whole wheat English muffin. I ended up dipping each bite in ketchup. I had more watermelon with it. *Side Note: my nephew ate a ton of the watermelon yesterday. Thank you little dude!*
My husband took my son to a birthday party and I took my daughter to a “Meet the Teachers” event at her new school (my son’s school). We left at 10:30AM and I was already super hungry. I brought one of these Trader Joe’s cheese sticks in the car to eat:
They had some snacks at the event. I had some guacamole and chips and carrots and hummus.
I wasn’t really satisfied when I got home, so I had a small bowl of Cole slaw and Mexican Bean Salad. Yes I still have a little left. No, I’m not sick of it yet. Did I mention that we are weird over here?
After that snack, I had another:
Never ending watermelon. Good thing it tastes good!
