140.2…Beautiful Friday

It’s no secret that I love hot wings. I especially love my recipe for hot wings. Once a month we get together with our friends, Alicia and Joe (also hot wing enthusiasts), and make a ton of our hot wings to enjoy for dinner.

Last night was “Hot Wing” night. We have discovered a new hot wing sauce to use instead of the Frank’s.

Wing Time from Jimbo’s. It’s amazing. I’m in love.

That is a bowl of happiness right there. If you don’t agree with me, that’s fine. More for me.

Alicia brought over a salad.

It was time to dig in.

I ended up eating 10 wings….no personal record but a satisfying number. :)

Breakfast this morning was a toasted English muffin with peanut butter and a side of strawberries.

I took the kids to school and went to Cardio Muscle class.

I met a few friends at The Pony Room in the Rancho Valencia hotel for lunch.

The weather in San Diego was AMAZING today. Low 80’s. It felt strange to put on a short dress in March. Wasn’t I just in boots and a coat the other day!?!

It was the perfect hot day to enjoy a refreshing cold glass of wine!

Our table shared the Chilled Jumbo Prawns (avocado mousse, horseradish chili, petite cilantro).

I ordered the RV California Cobb Salad (hard boiled egg, avocado, smoked bacon, roasted chicken, peppercorn vinaigrette).

Delicious. The perfect Friday.

After lunch, I went to an event at the school and brought the kids home. Tonight I’m making another new recipe for dinner and am looking forward to going to bed early! :)

How was the weather where you were today?

  1. Have you heard of foodspotting? If not you should check it out. It's a site where you take a pic of the food that you're eating at a restaurant if its just so fabulous that you want to publicize it and/or just keep a record for yourself.
