I felt like I was eating a delicious cream style pasta and I loved using the spinach fettuccine. Winner! I’m really enjoying cooking with yogurt lately!

Dessert was also a winner.

My breakfast. Teddie peanut butter on a waffle. Yeah, I know. I suck. BUT….I photographed it outside! I thought you’d enjoy a change of scenery since the food doesn’t change.

I took my son to a birthday party and managed to avoid all the pizza and cake. Another success for me! But by the time we got home, I was starving. I reheated some of last night’s dinner and made a big salad to go with it.

Honestly, I’m still hungry. I’m currently drinking water and waiting to see if I’m really hungry or not. If I am, I’ll load up on some fruit.

Tonight we are going out to dinner with some friends to an Italian restaurant. I’ve already looked at the menu online and have a couple of different healthy options in mind. I may splurge on some wine though. I think I deserve it. :)

Do you check out online menus before going out to eat?

What was the best thing you ate all weekend?

  1. That pasta looks wonderful! I picked up some spinach noodles the other day and I can't wait to use them. This sounds delicious.

Yes, I do check out menus ahead of time whenever possible. :) The best thing I ate this weekend? Zucchini Waffles. Yes, that's 4 times in less than a month. My kids adore them. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!) Plus, no oil and little sugar makes me feel pretty good about it.

  3. The pasta looks good - love that it has zucchini in it! I always look at menu's on-line! Even when I'm going to Panera. It's a sickness.
