142.6…Where’s my margarita?
It’s almost 5pm on Cinco de Mayo and I have not had a margarita yet. Fail. This must get rectified soon.
Track last night exhausted me. I laid in bed for at least ten minutes without moving my legs thinking how wonderful the feeling was.
When I woke up this morning, it felt like I slept for 2 hours only even though I got 8 hours. I slept great….I guess I just need more sleep?
Breakfast was an egg beater sammie on a toasted wheat English muffin with a slice of cheese and a side of strawberries.
I took the kids to school and then did my half marathon training for the day: 4 miles.
Mile 1 – 10:07
Mile 2 – 10:12
Mile 3 – 9:54
Mile 4 – 9:42
It was really warm out which makes me feel like I’m dragging. All I can say is that I hope it’s not a hot day for my half marathon – WHICH IS ONE MONTH FROM TODAY! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Oops. Sorry for that panic attack.
After my run, I got my nails done (running is not kind to my feet) and then hit the road to Orange County to get my hair done. It needed cut/colored REALLY badly. On the way I ate some snacks: Larabar, almonds, an apple and a mini cheese.
I feel much better now. Thank you.
We are going to our club with the kids and some friends for Cinco de Mayo dinner tonight. I will get my margarita on soon, I promise. Something tells me that there will be a glass of wine happening before that. Like now.
Are you celebrating Cinco de Mayo?
How you do like your margaritas? On the rocks, no salt. Extra shot of tequila. Oops, did I say that? :)
