144.2…Party #2 and #3
The weekend of holiday parties continues. Last night we attended our friend’s company’s holiday party at the Coronado Marriott.
The theme was “Candy Land” and there was an INCREDIBLE display of candy.
Seriously amazing.
Before digging into that candy, we enjoyed a buffet dinner.
Everything was really good! Then the moment I had been waiting for all night happened. Dessert.
There was a chocolate fountain and I basically dipped everything in it. Just about when I slipped into a chocolate induced coma, it was time to drive home.
This morning the festivities continued with our club’s annual “Breakfast with Santa.”
Another buffet. This time I had eggs benedict (my favorite!), potatoes, bacon and sausage. Then I went back for seconds of everything. I figured it was technically brunch so I needed to have enough for both breakfast and lunch.
Tonight is party #4, our last holiday party of the season. But the celebrating doesn’t end tonight….tomorrow is my birthday. :)
