143.6...Melt-in-Your-Mouth Broiled Salmon
When my husband isn’t home for dinner, I usually make salmon. He doesn’t eat fish and I love fish. They say opposites attract right?
I have my favorite salmon recipes but this one will get added to the rotation. The texture of the salmon was so buttery and perfectly cooked. Literally does melt in your mouth.
Melt-in-Your-Mouth Broiled Salmon (Serves 4)
Recipe adapted from All Recipes
1 clove garlic, minced
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets
4 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup white wine
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1. Preheat the oven’s broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray.
2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, and stir in the garlic. Remove from heat; stir in the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, white wine, black pepper, garlic salt, dried basil and dried oregano.
3. Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Pour butter sauce over the fillets.
4. Broil in the preheated oven for 9 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
I took the kids to school then went to spin class. I went to the Fashion Valley mall to run some errands. Of course I was going to stop at Blue Smoke Sushi Lounge for lunch. Had to order the Garlic Chili Edamame:
Yellowtail, Salmon and Tuna Sushi:
My perfect lunch.
Last night’s dinner was Chicken Chili (recipe coming):
Breakfast today….still going strong:
After drop off, I went to Sculpt class. Lunch was a turkey sandwich and a salad at home.
Tonight we are having dinner with friends!
