138.0…Back To Baking
Last night’s dinner rocked.
We picked up my son from his play date, picked up my favorite salad from Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza (Chopped Chicken Salad) and then picked up a pizza from our club. I was asleep before 9PM. That’s my kind of Friday night.
I slept in this morning, grabbed some coffee and made a piece of toast with peanut butter for breakfast.
Awhile back, weekends were always for baking. I used to bake the day away. Ever since I broke my foot and the holidays, the baking has been put on the back burner. Well, not today! Baking is back!
I’ve been meaning to make a batch of my Coconut-Sour Cherry Granola for awhile now. Today was the day.
Next up: Banana Bread!
I have two huge bags of banana bread-ready bananas in the freezer…time to use them up. I’m not a banana fan but this bread is amazing.
After my baking bonanza, it was lunch time.
Turkey sandwich, veggies and ranch dressing.
Tonight we are celebrating our friend’s birthday at a burger joint in La Jolla. I’m always ready for a good burger!
