143.2...Queen of the Freezer

If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know that I love to freeze stuff. I’ll try to freeze just about anything. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But you don’t know until you try.

Case in point: Last night I wanted Souperior Meatloaf, my favorite meatloaf recipe. It makes a ton and I was the only one eating it.

So, I cut the rest up into individual slices, wrapped them, stuck them in a labeled ziplock bag and put them in the freezer. Now I can have it whenever I want it. And this meatloaf freezes like a dream, by the way!

Breakfast this morning:

I was happy to have my English muffins back.

This morning I went on a field trip with my daughter’s class. Afterwards, I met Alicia for lunch at Sushiya. Told you I have a problem.

I hope this holds my sushi cravings off for awhile. Yeah right.

When I got home, I made my Cranberry Chutney for Thanksgiving.

Now, I know what you are thinking. Thanksgiving is more than a month away!! This is true but you can freeze this Cranberry Chutney for up to 3 months! It’s all about getting things done ahead!

Have you done anything in preparation for Thanksgiving? Or am I the only crazy one?
