148.2…Hello Vegetables!

As promised, here are a couple photos of Lisa and I parasailing in Hawaii! It was scary and exciting all at the same time!

Near the end, they dipped us in the water before our ride was over. Exhilarating!  

Now that the holidays and vacations are behind me, it's time to kick those New Year's Resolutions into gear: eat healthier and exercise more! Maybe eat some vegetables too…I haven't seem much of those lately.

Breakfast yesterday morning was Honey Nut Cheerios and almond milk.

The kids and I hopped in the car and headed to Los Angeles to meet my new nephew! He is soooo adorable!!!!!! 

We brought in lunch from a deli…I opted for some vegetables so I ordered a chopped salad.

It hit the spot. 

We ordered from PhoShow for dinner. (Love the name.) I had chicken pho and a spring roll.

Healthy eating day #1 was a success.

We drove back home after dinner and went to bed. I was exhausted. 

This morning's breakfast was the same as the day before.

I had a repair guy come over so I was able to get a bunch of stuff done around the house while I waited for him. Lunch was tuna salad and celery.

I took my son to basketball practice, got some groceries, then went on an hour walk in the neighborhood. 

Vegetables and exercise: check!

  1. Parasailing was a BLAST!!!! I wish we had known that we could have gone for another "flight" for half-price…I would have done that in a nano-second! Good times! Happy you were with me!!
