142.4…Mother's Day Grub

Happy Belated Mother's Day to all the moms out there! I had a great weekend and I ate well! Saturday night, my husband picked up Brett's BBQ for us. I had baby back ribs, cole slaw and sweet potato fries. It was epic.

Mother's Day morning I slept in, only to be greeted with my favorite latte from Starbucks when I woke up.

I felt like Lucky Charms so that's what I ate for breakfast.

My husband barbecued for us. Hot dogs and a few different side dishes that he picked up at the store…all great options!

We all went over to a friend's house for dinner where the husbands cooked for us. Barbecued chicken, corn, potato salad and Caesar salad!

I love when people cook for me! The evening ended with the kids tucking ME into bed. It was the perfect Mother's Day! Thank you to my fabulous family!! (A special props to my husband who rocks!)

Breakfast this morning was peanut butter on a toasted English muffin and half a grapefruit.

I took the kids to school, went to a PTO meeting, then volunteered for a bit. That was followed by a photography class that I had signed up for. It was basically a class teaching about moving beyond the auto mode on your SLR camera. It was very technical and a bit confusing but we have homework (there's a follow up class next Monday) that should help make everything make more sense. Hopefully.

During class, I enjoyed a chopped salad with ranch dressing.

I ran some errands afterwards and then picked up the kids from school. We have a quiet evening at home ahead of us. :)

Have you ever taken a photography class?  This is my first! (Probably obvious from all my photos.)
