Chip and salsa anyone? Guacamole? Yes please.
Hubby and I went to dinner at Las Consuelas Nuevas in Rancho Mirage last night. The kids went with their cousins, aunt and grandmother to Home Town Buffet. I think we got the better deal. :) We had chips, salsa, and guacamole. Don’t worry…there was wine too.
I ordered the grilled fish tacos.
Came back to the hotel and passed out before 8:30PM. Yup.
I had to hit the road for Los Angeles a little early to meet my family. I grabbed a latte and egg white wrap from Starbucks:
That’s the first time I had that egg white/spinach/feta cheese wrap. It was pretty darn good actually!
I arrived at my mom’s house and we left from their to pick up my sister in law to have lunch and go shopping. We had lunch at Gulfstream at The Century City mall. I had the Cedar Plank Salmon and cole slaw:
After a little shopping, we came back to my parent’s house. We are celebrating my sister in law’s birthday tonight. My dad poured us some vino:
My sister in law was telling us about a new wine bar that had opened near her and about their happy hour wine deals. When my dad heard the prices of wine in bars in Los Angeles, he said “Why not just go to your car and drink from a jug.” Great advice Dad.
Have you ever had the breakfast items from Starbucks? What do you like?
