146.2…Ups and Downs

As promised, here are two videos from the Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias Concert this past Wednesday night. These were two of my favorite moments. Enjoy!

Friday night, I went with my friend Alexis to Katsuya in Brentwood. Our husbands were playing in a golf tournament so we decided to grab dinner together.

We shared a whole bunch of fabulous dishes.

I went to bed a happy camper that night.

Saturday morning, my husband left early for the second day of the golf tournament. I had the ideal morning. I slept in then ordered room service for breakfast while watching TV and playing candy crush.

My kind of a morning!

I got dressed and Alexis and I met the guys at the golf club when the tournament ended. Later on, we went to Q's to celebrate my brother's birthday and watch the Notre Dame (where he went to college) football game. Before his game, was my game: USC. We had a great victory over Colorado. I wish I could say the same for Notre Dame. It was a heartbreaking loss that came down to the last few seconds. :(

I ate breakfast so late that the food at my brother's party was lunch/dinner. Taco Bar:

I started out with those two carne asada tacos and had two more over the course of the evening.

Here's me, my brother's wife Stephanie (she's due in January!!!), my mom and my brother:

Happy Birthday!!!!

Yesterday morning we were up early to pick up the kids at my sister in law's and head back to San Diego for the Chargers game. Along the way I had a latte and turkey bacon sandwich from Starbucks.

At the game I had a couple of sliders and chips and dip. The Chargers didn't fare well as they lost to the Chiefs. :( I guess you can't win them all right!?!

I ate so much this weekend that by the time we got home last night, I didn't want to even look at food. So I didn't. :)

Breakfast this morning was scrambled egg beaters with salsa, green onions and cheddar cheese.

I dropped the kids off at school, then went to a PTO meeting. I missed my beloved Cardio Muscle class so I had to go to the gym and work out by myself which, as you know, I dislike immensely. But, I got it done.

I ran to the grocery store because we were all out of any fresh food. For lunch, I made tuna salad on a bed of greens.

I needed some vegetables in my life!!

Did you experience any "ups and downs" this weekend?

  1. Holy balls you fit in a lot over the weekend! I had lunch with my daughter - which was awesome just to get out and do anything - it's been way too long!
