136.6…Back

I didn’t end up going to Los Angeles last night…it was determined that it was fine for me to come today instead. So we decided to take advantage of my extra hours at home and take the kids out to dinner at Tio Leo’s.

I had a fish taco and cheese enchilada combination with rice and beans.

I ate the fish taco and about half the cheese enchilada and a few bites of beans and rice. I think I ate too many chips before my food came. Isn’t that always the case at Mexican restaurants? :)

This morning I had a toasted English muffin with peanut butter and strawberries for breakfast.

It had been awhile since I’ve eaten breakfast at home!

I loaded the car and headed to Los Angeles to visit my dad in the hospital. His procedure didn’t yield the results that we were hoping for. I’m really not sure what’s next. His spirits are better today though. That counts for something.

They had someone in the cafeteria today making Teriyaki Beef to order today so I chose to have that. There’s only so many grilled chicken sandwiches I can stand.

It was actually good! But….a couple hours later….I’m hungry again. Looks like I’ll be visiting the cafeteria again soon.

Fish tacos…..breaded or grilled fish? Grilled all the way.

  2. Sending positive thoughts your way about your Dad! I agree, hospital food has got to be the worst - once Tony was in the hospital for 17 days straight and I ended up bringing my own food!

    Hugs!

In the past, I never minded hospital food. I guess everything gets old after a couple of weeks! :)
