149.2...A Week of Celebrations
On Wednesday night my son had a basketball game. I ate the Piacere Mio leftovers before we left.
Thursday’s breakfast:
After I took the kids to school, I went to yoga followed by a performance in my daughter’s class. I ran errands and stopped for lunch at Urban Plates.
Albacore, Brussels spouts and a zucchini cauliflower mixture.
That evening my son had Bar Mitzvah tutoring so my husband and I grabbed a quick dinner at Woukou Ramen & Yakitori. We shared Chicken Yakitori:
As well as Drunken Noodles and Fried Rice:
Friday’s breakfast:
I went to the gym for a quick run on the treadmill after dropping the kids at school. Afterwards, I went to a meeting at Coasterra for the Bar Mitzvah. I had my favorite there: Ahi Tuna Tostada:
The kids had haircuts after school. For dinner we went to Del Mar Rendezvous. I had the Chef’s Shrimp Sauté and shared some Lo Mein noodles with my husband.
Saturday’s breakfast:
I spent the day getting all the little last minute details done for the Bar Mitzvah…which is this coming Saturday by the way!!!
For lunch I had a turkey sandwich with chips and pickles. I guess I’m stuck on this lunch. Not feeling creative and it’s easy to make.
My son had a few friends over to celebrate his birthday (which was yesterday) and we took them to the Padres game. I had my favorite carne asada fries:
I guess they changed them a bit but they were still good! There was a dessert buffet near our seats so I tried a bit of everything.
Sunday’s breakfast was scrambled eggs with salsa, onions and shredded cheddar cheese:
I had another turkey sandwich for lunch.
I had some friends over to help me with some Bar Mitzvah party projects. We picked up Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza for dinner. I had the Burrata Pesto Pizza and the Chopped Chicken Salad:
Yesterday’s breakfast:
After I took the kids to school, I worked out with my trainer. I ran a ton of errands, stopping at Chipotle for lunch.
Bowl with beef, pinto beans, salsa, lettuce and guacamole.
Since it was my son’s 13th birthday, he had the choice for dinner. He chose his favorite restaurant, PF Chang’s. I’m normally not a big fan but they changed up their menu a bit since the last time I was there and I really enjoyed what we ordered.
Lettuce wraps (these have always been good):
Chicken Lo Mein and Pepper Steak:
For dessert, we went to Baked Bear. I had been once before and it was good. This time, the cookie in our bowl was hard. Boo. Probably for the best since I didn’t eat much.
Today’s breakfast:
I went to spin class after school drop off. We had a sub today and for whatever reason, it was super hard today. I was counting down the minutes until it was over.
Lunch was another turkey sandwich:
Last little details being taken care of today before the big Bar Mitzvah this weekend!
